Although making whisky was at the core of our mission when we created Spirit Hound, we quickly realized that our custom-built still could also produce an outstanding rum.
Thus was born our Mountain Bum Rum.
It's made from fifty percent Caribbean Molasses and fifty percent Cane Sugar then twice distilled using our pot still.
Mountain Bum Rum is offered two varieties. Our unaged Silver Rum is bottled at 80 proof and is always available the Spirit Hound tasting room. The aged rum is currently slumbering in some our our spent whisky barrels - to be awakened for our next release!
