Fruity nose, with notes of apple and apricot balanced by a caramel sweetness. Medium body, with initial herbal dryness that transitions to sweet, estery notes of pear and Bing cherry with some burnt caramel thrown in. Very slight peat and fennel finish.

Barrel #81

Burnt caramel, fresh oak and toffee nose. Taste is sweet and malty up front, with notes of brown sugar and honey. Mid-sip this barrel dries quickly, with tangy, smoky and spicy flavors. Woody spice finish lingers on the tongue.
